C3i at the 4th CellCAN Strategic Forum 2026 in Laval

From April 7 to 9, 2026, C3i took part in the 4th Pan-Canadian Strategic Forum on Cell and Gene Therapies, organized by CellCAN at the Sheraton Laval & Convention Center.

The event brought together key players in the sector, including scientists, innovators, and partners from the cell and gene therapy biomanufacturing ecosystem, around a shared objective: accelerating the development of therapeutic solutions in cell and gene therapies for the benefit of patients across Canada.

As a Gold Partner, C3i was proud to support this major industry event. As part of its participation, the organization also hosted an official networking evening on April 8, creating a dedicated space for strategic discussions, knowledge sharing, and the development of new relationships within the ecosystem.

C3i’s presence in Laval gave several members of its team, including Jamie Sharp, Bobby Boursiquot, Cynthia Thérien, and Yvan Côté, the opportunity to meet with key stakeholders and contribute to discussions on the sector’s evolution.

One of the forum’s highlights was the participation of Yvan Côté, President and CEO of C3i, in the roundtable discussion titled “Seizing the Opportunity for Canada,” alongside other industry leaders. The discussion highlighted the conditions needed for Canada to strengthen its position as a trusted global partner in biomanufacturing, in a rapidly evolving international landscape.

Throughout the event, several key issues shaping the future of the sector were addressed, including the expansion of national biomanufacturing capacity, workforce challenges, evolving regulatory pathways, and supply chain resilience.

In this context, the collaboration between C3i and CellCAN reflects a shared commitment to fostering dialogue, strengthening stakeholders collaboration, and supporting the growth of a stronger, more connected Canadian ecosystem that is better prepared for market realities.

C3i also had the privilege of welcoming the Honourable Dominic LeBlanc, a stem cell transplant recipient at Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital, among the guests of this year’s event. His inspiring speech offered a powerful testimony to the importance of these life-changing treatments.

C3i’s participation in the 2026 CellCAN Strategic Forum reflects its ongoing commitment to the development of the sector and to the collaborations that help advance the innovation, manufacturing, and commercialization of cell and gene therapies in Canada.
